SUNDAYS AT 9AM & 10:45AM TRADITIONAL
We are a diverse family of believers united in community through faith in Jesus Christ. We seek to lead people of all backgrounds to love God, love others, and serve joyfully. No matter who you are, we invite you to come be a part of our church family!
The Sunday gatherings at Tulare FBC include moments of community, prayer, worship, and teaching. Overall, you will find an incredibly friendly environment where everyone is welcomed! As for music, our worship team consists of a live band that leads us in song as we sing and celebrate God. Then, one of our Pastors will teach a message from the Bible and discuss how we can apply God’s word to our everyday lives. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by Pastor Bob or one of our other leaders! Sunday gatherings last for about seventy-five minutes.
Plan on arriving to the campus at least ten minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park, check your kids into their classrooms and grab a cup of coffee before the service begins. Then you’ll want to make sure you get into the auditorium before the music starts. We’ll give you a heads up when we’re about to begin.
Don’t worry about wearing “your Sunday best” to Tulare FBC. We don’t have a dress code here! Whether you prefer a suit-and-tie, or simply shorts and a t-shirt, you will feel right at home.
QuestKids is designed for children from birth through 5th grade. Your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ. QuestKids is led by staff and volunteers who will be there each week to care for and love on your child. We utilize a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents.
If you’re interested in learning more about who we are, please join us for Starting Point, a gathering that covers the history, purpose, strategy and structure of Tulare FBC.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, being fully God and fully man. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return physically again someday to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift(s) when they are saved.
People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character and are the supreme object of God’s creation. Every person, however, is separated from God by sin. All mankind is born into the world with a nature which not only possesses no spark of divine life, but is essentially and unchangeably wicked apart from divine grace.
Salvation is God’s free gift to us. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty of eternal death and separation from God. Eternal life begins the moment one trusts Jesus Christ for his salvation.
The person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ is secure in their salvation through the completed work of
Jesus Christ. At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells the Christian believer and He is the guarantee or
down-payment for the Christian’s salvation. Because salvation is based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ, who is
God and His works do not waver, the Christian can be confident in the eternal security of God’s gift of salvation.
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin in Hell or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation with Him. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
